Alex

When politicians begin to use personal medical record for its own political gain, you wonder whether those politicians are running out of “beef” and turning into “pork”.

When doctors begin to use personal medical record to justify his professional training on speculating someone’s health condition, you wonder whether those doctors are truly professionally trained.

When we are all silent on someone disclosing his/her political opponent’s medical record, whether or not the record is authentic, you wonder what and where is our morality.

When my doctor releases my medical record without my consent, I wonder who else I could trust. We, the society, are giving those doctors a very high social, and economical status. You wonder whether those doctors take everything for granted, and deserved such elevated social status.

This is not for Blue or Green, this is the most fundamental patient and human right. Because remember, regardless who you are, we are the patients of our doctors.

“Shame” is a relatively milder description for those doctors in the press conference. To be honest, I ran out of words to describe them.
