ETTV Asia is viewed
ETTV Asia was ETTV’s first channel to enter an overseas
market, officially beginning cable-TV service to Hong
Kong in July 2002, and Macao in August 2002. ETTV Asia
is currently available via direct-to-home satellite
or cable TV in
the
Japan, Thailand, Cambodia, Philippines, Indonesia,
Australia and New Zealand. It is projected to
reach more than 4.6 million households by the
end of 2005.
ETTV Asia’s market goal is to serve all of Asia.
It is currently implementing strategic cooperation
arrangements with television media organisations
in South Korea and South-east Asian countries
to continually expand the areas in which ETTV
Asia can be viewed.
